Quality podcasts since 1982. Klangextase describes not only an intense musical - electronic enjoyment, but as well a story. A story that started with friends who met a few years ago to produce electronic music and mixes together. The first joint sets were soon published online as a live stream, followed by sets of friends and acquaintances. The community grew over the years, as well did the number of different artists and their podcasts and tracks. Soon as well international artists enriched the Klangextase family. However - without the invention of the MP3 format in 1982, this story would not have been possible, this is the reason why this date belongs to Klangextase since the early beginning. Til today, Klangextase represents the diversity of artists and their enthusiasm for electronic music. We are an international platform of enthusiasts for qualitative productions and sets, whose history we would like to tell.

Thorsten is one of this artists that goes his own path since many years. Grow up in musical ways with the german „Sound of Frankfurt“ in the 90´s, listen to the „HR3 Clubnight“ and went in Clubs like the well known ´Omen` or `Dorian Gray`, he early started to get interested in electronic music and their culture.
With his steady output and releases on labels like Bar 25, Ballroom Records, Monza Ibiza, Bonzai, Awen Records, Frequenza Records, KingStreet or his own imprint Ametist Records just to name a few and continuous worldwide chart positions in shops like Beatport, Traxsource, iTunes or Apple Music he showed up his talent and creativity and is definitely a artist you should have a eye on
